Calculate A Monthly Moving Average Year To Date (YTD) in Power BI Using DAX

In this tutorial we work through how you can calculate the year to date moving average of results in Power BI using DAX.

It is common to show the absolute YTD numbers but not the average YTD numbers, so it was a good opportunity to jump into the unique calculation and show you how it can be done.
