One of the most common questions is how can I do a VLOOKUP in Excel and sum all of the matches? You can’t do it with VLOOKUP because VLOOKUP only finds the first match. You have a range of numbers in Excel but there are some error cells. When you try to use AutoSum, it selects the wrong range. When you select the correct range, the Sum is replaced by an error.
