Now that you have a better understanding of how Power BI works, you’re probably wondering: “how much is that going to cost me?”.

Well before we talk about cost we need to talk about licenses because there are different types of licenses in Power BI.

First of all, I want to say Power BI Desktop is completely Free: anybody, anywhere can just download it and use it, no problem at all is Free, but when you start sharing your reports with others in Power BI service that’s where the licenses come in.
