This video walks through COLUMNSTATISTICS() – a new, almost entirely undocumented DAX function added to Power BI in August 2021. This function can be used to quickly create metadata on every table in your data model, including a list of fields, and min, max, max length, and number of unique values (cardinality) for each field. However, there are some very unique aspects to how this function can and can’t be used, which I also go through in this video.
