For this video, I’d like to talk about and demo the newly released Deneb custom visual for Power BI. It’s an amazing visual, and provides an interface for the Vega-lite language for interactive visuals to be used within Power BI. Also, we’ll go over the templates included by the author, Daniel Marsh-Patrick, that helps speed up the design process. I think this visual is going to be huge as it provides a full code experience, and is extremely customizable. I’ll be showcasing a few examples to compare how the Deneb and Vega-lite visuals compare to the standard Power BI visuals.
