In this video, I’m showing you an incredible hack using Copilot in Microsoft Edge that will save you from having to watch entire YouTube videos again! Imagine being able to jump straight to the key moments of any video without sitting through the lengthy intros or outros. With Copilot, you can do exactly that—access the essential highlights from any video and skip all the fluff. Here, I’ll walk you through how to do it step-by-step with a practical example from one of my own videos.
I start by heading over to MRX.CL/GPT, where you’ll find the twin box implementation for every YouTube video I’ve ever recorded. Let’s say I want to find a video where I discussed how to place people on a bell curve. All I do is type that into the search bar, find the video link, and open it in a new tab. But we all know how some of these videos can be—mine included—with long-winded introductions or off-topic discussions. Instead of wasting time, I use Copilot 365 to get straight to the point.
By clicking the Copilot icon in the top-right corner of Microsoft Edge, I can ask it to generate video highlights. In seconds, it scans the video transcript and creates a series of highlights that point to the most crucial sections. For example, if I want to skip directly to the part where I explain calculating the mean and standard deviation, Copilot takes me right there! No more searching through endless minutes to find what you need.
This feature is a game-changer, especially for those who just want the essential information without all the filler. Whether it’s skipping my greetings at the beginning or avoiding the sales pitches at the end, Copilot allows you to take control of your viewing experience. It’s an incredible time-saver that you’ll definitely want to try out.
